Why did you choose to get into hairdressing? I started to colour my own hair when I was in 6th year, much to my father’s disgust! When I was around 15/16 I really started to have an interest and would always do my friends hair if we were going out.
What aspect of hairdressing are you most passionate about? I love colour and making clients feel good about themselves. Your hair is your crowning glory if your hair isn’t right nothing else feels right. I love reassuring clients to trust me and allow me to advise on which hair technique and colour would suit them best.
Who in the industry do you admire? The main people I’m following at the moment on instagram and Snapchat would be Tracy Cunningham and Jen Atkins. I love discovering new products, colour mixture’s and technique’s and these two are the hottest stylists right now on trends and products .
Whose celebrity style do you admire? I love Blake Lively’s style which is always so natural and simple.
What is your favourite part of your job? Making women feeling great about themselves and their hair, there is no better feeling than a great big smiling client to greet you after you’ve finished a colour service.
What is your favourite product to work with? My favorite product would have to be Wellaplex. It allows me to push the hair that little bit more with the insurance of keeping the integrity of the hair, making my job a whole lot easier.
