The allowance for cancer patients has increased from €500 to €770, regardless of whether you hold a medical card, to help cover the cost of a wig or hairpiece. For those undergoing chemotherapy, this significant increase provides greater support as you regain your confidence during a challenging time. For those with alopecia, the allowance remains at €500, and is available exclusively to individuals who hold a current medical card.
