Lexie

How long have you been with Bellissimo?  I’ve been with Bellissimo coming up to 5 years now. I started in the Academy and was lucky enough to be offered a position on the salon floor.

Why did you choose to get into hairdressing?  Having spent my childhood in a family salon I always had an interest in hairdressing. I contemplated other options before deciding on the Academy here in Bellissimo. This reignited my interest and from there grew a passion for all things hair.

What aspect of hairdressing are you most passionate about? I’m passionate about my job in general. Cutting and highlighting are my two favourite aspects of hairdressing. For me it’s the technicality of highlighting and the precision of cutting that entices my love for these two specialised services.

Who’s celebrity style do you most admire? I love Emily Ratajkowski, her effortless style and sleek locks are to die for!  I’m also loving all the Kardashians lately. They are always on trend.

What is your favourite part of your job?  I love working with people. Client satisfaction is my utmost priority. It in turn gives me great satisfaction that I have put a smile on someone’s face by doing what I love to do.
Also the people that I work with, they make me look forward to coming to work, we’re like one big crazy family!

What is your favourite product to work with?  We have such a wide range of products in the salon I couldn’t choose just one. I love all the Moroccanoil range. My favourite styling sprays would be texturiza from Unite and glam mist from the Wella Eimi range, it leaves a polished finish on the hair and it smells amazing.
